L’Association Canadienne des Pathologistes Vétérinaires
About us:
The Canadian Association of Veterinary Pathologists (CAVP) was formed in the early 1970’s with six objectives:
i) to provide an organization for individuals working in veterinary pathology and related areas in Canada;
ii) to further scientific progress in veterinary pathology;
iii) to function as a group of advisors to various agencies responsible for the direction and implementation of research and investigational studies pertaining to animal health in Canada;
iv) to be involved and committed to continuing education for members of the Association and the veterinary profession as whole;
v) to foster broad-based relationships with similar associations at the national and international level;
vi) and to engage in educational and research activity as may be appropriate and necessary from time to time.
L’Association canadienne des pathologistes vétérinaires (ACPV) a été établie au début des années 1970 pour six raisons:
i) créer une organisation pour les personnes travaillant en pathologie vétérinaire et dans des domains connexes au Canada;
ii) faire advancer le progrès scientifique en pathologie vétérinaire;
iii) servir de groupe consultatif aux divers organismes responsables de diriger et d’effectuer des recherches et des études sur la santé animale au Canada;
iv) contributes à l’éducation permanente des members de l’ACPV et de l’ensemble de la profession;
v) favoriser des partenariats à grande échelle avec des associations semblables sur les scènes nationale et internationale;
vi) et participer à des activités de formation et de recherché comme il convient.
